Enjoy seasonal music, visit with Living History presenters, taste Colonial Chocolate by Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolatier Robert Lecce, do some last minute gifting with Big Bear Trading Company, raise a glass and enjoy seasonal tastes in the spirit of the season.

Lincoln, RI - Chase Farm - Great Road Da
Get a taste of the History of Great Road! Every year, 10 properties along Great Road, one of the oldest highways in the country, invite visitors to an Open House to get a peek inside these rare sites, ranging from 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Take a self-guided tour of the sites at the Great Road Heritage Campus: Hearthside House, Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse, Hannaway Blacksmith Shop and the Moffett Mill. The other participating sites include the Friends Quaker Meetinghouse, the Arnold House, Mt. Moriah Lodge, Northgate and the Arnold’s Bakery. The Valentine Whitman House, private residence, offers an outdoor visit to learn its history.

Join us April 20 at Leffingwell House Museum for our season opening, 11am-3pm. Flag raising by Norwich Scouting after Brown's Artillery opening cannon blast. At 11:30 discover more about 1774, On the road to Revolution, a Presentation by Dayne Rugh on the False Powder Alarm Muster. Living History presenters: Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolate, Big Bear Trading Company, the Wedges of Time.
